Why use ModuSec ?
ModuSec has been specifically designed to provide the correct levels of protection for computer hardware and media from external threats such as fire, water, smoke, dust, theft, vandalism and sabotage. Our product also provides the essential security to data centers, critical control rooms, store rooms, interior and exterior of buildings in need of high protection, security units in constant danger and armories.
- ModuSec uses lightweight, high strength, steel faced wall and ceiling panels with a 'Pyrofoam' core that provides a high performance thermal barrier.
- Panels simply lock together to form a protective enclosure that is quick and clean to build at any size.

How is ModuSec Design Criteria Determined?
In data centers, panel design criterias are determined considering the system servers, server racks, the protections standarts of critical softwares and endurance limits.
Which ModuSec Panels Are Used in Which Protection Levels?
ModuSec panels are categorized by their protection levels. These protection levels have been determined through specific standarts and tests.
Panels seperated by these levels have similar exteriors but show differences with the endurance of their internal structures. That enables the combined use of panels with different standards in a modular structure.

Energy Efficient Insulation Levels
- It virtually eliminates the effects of outside ambient temperatures.
- Non porous core with steel skins negates the need for humidification.
- This allows for the more efficient design of cooling systems - improving PUE (power usage efficiency) and reducing cost of ownership.
- The ModuSec panels have more than double the energy efficiency of mineral wool panels of the same thickness.
Mechanical Properties of ModuSec Panels
- ModuSec panels are light but very strong – reducing loads on supporting steel (that may then be reduced in spec) and the base slab Standard panel
- Walls need no structural framework
- Ceilings can span up to 6m (3.8m for SR 3+) before requiring any additional support - exceeding the BS6399 requirement for ‘walk on’ service access
- Ceilings impact tested to protect from falling debris
- Panels have a compressive strength of 59 tonnes/sqm – allowing use as floor panels
